Fulkalender part 4 – 2 Dec
Today is the day when we filled our closets with monsters. Our closet monsters are filled with lavender and are really quite useful. They guard your clothes and make your closet smell great. The lavender keeps small bugs that eats your clothes away. Todays fulkalender is remake and a home defense system all in one. I
1. You need fabric, like an old t-shirt, an old sock or maybe some old curtains. You only need a small amount of fabric. You also need paper, scissors, pen, buttons, needle and thread. It is also really useful to have a sewing machine but you can make it by hand cause the monsters are really small.
2. Take a piece of paper and use a quarter of it to make the pattern for your monster.
3. Fold it in half, either way.
4. Draw half a monster, don’t make the bodyparts too narrow cause thats really hard to sew.
5. Cut out your pattern.
6. Our patterns looked like this.
7. Fasten the pattern on some fabric with the help of pins.
8. Zig-zag around your pattern.
9. Leave a hole so you will be able to insert the lavender into the monster.
10. Cut off the access fabric.
11. Make a spout out of paper
12. With the help of your spout pour the lavender into the monster. This is the tricky part, you might need a pen to push down on the lavender. An extra pair of hands is also really useful.
13. Close the hole and make eyes and a mouth on your monster.
14. This is our gang ready to invade our closets.
