3 December – Ocean balls at home
This is the ultimate at home craft. We didn’t need to buy anything to make the balls. And Ocean of balls is great, its fun to do, easy and hard to stop. And the great thin is that a lot of them is a good thing. We think that this craft way back when was supposed to be a Christmas ornament. But we like the balls all year around. They are great as party decorations. Hang all of them over your table and get in instant party. They are also great as containers, you can put candy in them or use them as gift wrappers.
1. You need paper, photos, old magazines or really anything. You need round things, scissors, glue (we prefer glue sticks, but take whatever you have at home)
2. Draw circles on your paper, you need ten circles to make the most common kind of ball. It takes 5 circles to make each half of the ball.
3. Cut out your circles
4. Glue along the edges
5. Glue the edges together to make two halves. Each half is made up of five circles.
6. A finished half of a ball.
7. Glue the halves together to make your ball.
8. Pull a thread through your ball and fasten small beads in it hang it.
9. You can also make star balls. A star ball consists of six squares where you glue the corners together. Picture in your mind that you first make four walls and last a floor and a ceiling. D
10. It’s really nice to use photographs, the balls get really personal and fun.
11. Party in Fuldesign’s studio Fulhålet.
