Leve Klotet summer of 2009

So, we were told by Navid Modiri that Gothenburg Culture Festival would have an area with a focus on recycling, green future and ambition called Leve Klotet. He thought that somehow we should participate, and that decorating using recycled materials should be a good project for Fuldesign. We agreed and booked the date for a visit in Gothenburg.

We had agreed that somehow we would decorate a room, but had no other frames to keep to.When we were at the building department to get our material so we decided that we would turn down the room in scale, making a mini house and decorate it.

We were assisted by Stadsmissionen in Gothenburg, to obtain recycled materials and second hand, then we went to Leve Klotet’s area near the Opera House and began to build.

When we had built the house it got invaded by young people who completely arbitrarily decided to move into the house and help with the decoration. We left the place and felt that the project had a life of its own. What initially was the Ful shed turned in the day to Emo-cage.
